The reality star, 33, shared a gallery of photos on Instagram on Wednesday of herself posing triumphantly in skinny jeans that used to be too small for her.

“I bought these jeans at the start of the lockdown, just the usual ‘add to cart’ purchase, got my regular size and didn’t think much about it. When they arrived… they didn’t fit,” Martha explained in the caption.

“Not like they were tight and I couldn’t close the buttons… they didn’t fit. Like they wouldn’t even go any further. I couldn’t get them over my a**.’

After she jumped on the scale, Martha realized she was the heaviest she’d ever been.

‘When did this happen to me? Then came the negative thoughts… “You deserve to be punished”, “You should starve”, added the influencer.

Martha’s personal trainer friend Michael Brunelli then encouraged her to try his 30-day Tru Fit weight loss challenge.

As part of the challenge, Martha went to bed early, woke up at dawn, exercised for 30 minutes a day, and walked 10,000 steps daily.⁣

“It was damn hard. ⁣To challenge myself even more, I have now added Pilates to the mix to work on my core and posture, or lack thereof!’ she added.

Martha concluded by encouraging others to take charge of their health, even when they feel helpless.

‘Change your mindset. Instead of punishing yourself, nurture and improve yourself. Instead of punishing yourself, nurture and improve yourself,” she said.

“Don’t think of it as just a salad, think of it as a favor to your body… you know the same body that abuses you with Pinot noir and more than three coffees a day and so much sodium that your organs are the size of sultanas.”
