Married At First Sight’s Lucinda reveals what really happened during Home Stays with groom Timothy: ‘He had just had enough’

Married At First Sight’s Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith had a huge blast at Homestays Week.

And Lucinda revealed what really happened between the two men on that ill-fated trip.

“I’ve explored him from every facet and angle and if he’s decided that the language of emotions and feelings isn’t for him… what do you do with it?” she said Nine.

“It was a moment where I was just going to say, ‘I don’t really know where to go from here,'” she continued.

“I think to be completely honest, Tim was emotionally…because of all the vulnerability from the week before, he had just had enough.”

During Monday’s episode, the pair had a huge argument after Lucinda traveled to Melbourne with Timothy to stay at his place and meet his friends.

The wedding celebrant, 43, and property mogul, 51, got off to a “slow” start but have made huge progress in recent days, sharing an intimate kiss at a recent dinner and gushing to the experts to link them.

However, things hit the rocks when the couple had an epic argument during homestay week after Lucinda was left disappointed when Timothy stormed off and disappeared for seven hours.

She seemed to end things at the end of the episode.

Following Monday’s explosive scenes, which also saw Timothy storm off after an expletive-filled rant, the pair were seen arriving separately at Skye Suites.

They arrived at their apartment within hours of each other after Lucinda admitted that Timothy wasn’t “for her” and said she wanted more of a relationship, appearing to confirm that they were over.

Timothy looked dejected as he unloaded his luggage from his vehicle in an all-black outfit that matched his mood.

Hours later, Lucinda looked distressed as she walked with her hand on her head after getting out of her car.
