Jade Pywell and her on-screen husband Ridge Barredo have been open about their future together and it looks like plans for a baby are on the horizon.
In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, the Married At First Sight couple who recently celebrated their first anniversary, revealed plans to start a family.
When asked about his sex life, Ridge was quick to evade the topic.
“You can go…” he began, before dismissing the question mischievously. “Yeah, deece,” he added jokingly.
“She’s not pregnant yet, which is a little annoying,” he joked with a laugh.
“And she’s got a ring on her finger and everything. But apparently not. It has to be someone else,” he added, alluding to Jade’s desire for a more official commitment before she starts trying for a baby.
When asked if the idea of having children together was something they had discussed, Ridge explained that Jade wanted to get married before having a child.
“She said yes to the next person I’m going to marry or get engaged to,” he revealed.

Jade, who already has a daughter named Victoria from a previous relationship, was equally clear about her plans.
“Yes, I obviously want to have two children close in age. I’ve always wanted to have two children very close in age,” she explained.
“But I want a ring first. I want to be engaged before I think about having kids. I’m not going to change my mind,” she added.
“She’s not pregnant yet… which is kind of annoying,” Ridge joked with a laugh. “And she’s got a ring on her finger and everything. But apparently not. It has to be someone else.”
This comes after Ridge shared a sweet video of himself and his “wifey” celebrating their move to Jade’s hometown of the Gold Coast.
Daily Mail Australia revealed in May that Ridge had quit his job as a psychiatric nurse in New South Wales and moved in with his TV girlfriend.
Days later, the MAFS intruder boyfriend took to Instagram to officially share the news with his 111,000 followers as he posted a sweet video of himself and Jade.
In the footage, Ridge looks very affectionate with Jade as he lifts her up in the air and kisses her in the kitchen of their new shared home on the Gold Coast.
In an accompanying caption, Ridge heaped praise on his girlfriend and her daughter Victoria as he shared his joy at moving in with them.
He wrote: “We really went from ‘can’t wait to see you again’ to ‘see you at home’. After 6 months, I finally moved to GC to be with my baby girl.
‘It hasn’t been the easiest road with the ups and downs and everything else, but we really did it.
‘I’m finally settled in here and I’m so excited to continue growing our lives together with little V #lovewins.’
