She left the experiment on Sunday night, finally ending her tumultuous relationship with Ben Walters.

And Married At First Sight bride Ellie Dix, 32, had every reason to smile as she left her home for work in Currumbin, Queensland, on Monday.

The nurse, whose affair with boyfriend Jonathan McCullough will be exposed at the next MAFS meeting, smiled widely as she walked down the driveway towards a parked car.

She then drove to meet her boyfriend Jono, 39, who was working as a laborer on a nearby property.

Dressed in a traditional outfit, Jono approached Ellie’s parked car and leaned against the front window before enjoying a chat with his love.

Looking a far cry from her glamorous dinner style, Ellie dressed in a blue button-down business shirt, high-waisted black capri pants, and black ballet flats.

She pulled her brunette locks into a sleek bun and accessorized her look with a black Gucci bag worth around $2,500.

Ellie and Jonathan will announce their relationship during the show’s reunion.

Their clandestine relationship allegedly began with secret text messages exchanged during filming of the show after Ellie broke up with her partner Ben.

A source told Daily Mail Australia that it will all play out at a future commitment ceremony.

“Lauren had no idea Jono was keeping in touch with Ellie and she found out during filming, and boy was she not happy,” they said.

“She was completely stunned and felt humiliated in the end, but everyone else is happy for them.”

The source added: ‘Jono and Ellie kept in touch after she left the show, but the romance only intensified once Jono ended things with Lauren on Final Vows. Their real-life meeting a few days later revealed undeniable chemistry.

Ben was reportedly equally taken aback by the development, sources close to the show revealed.
