Cameron Merchant has undergone a stunning dad makeover.
The Married At First Sight ex-boyfriend shared a before and after photo on his Instagram on Tuesday that showed how far he’s come.
The 40-year-old explained that he had spent a year getting fit and healthy and replaced his spare tire with a six-pack.
“The goal was simple… Commit to getting stronger every day,” she wrote in her caption.
‘Physically Mentally Emotionally Spiritually. To be honest, I thought this dad bod would be here for life and that was totally fine with me.”
He continued: ‘But it wasn’t about that, it was about having more energy, vitality and being stronger and more present for my family and my life.
‘It’s been a wild ride the last 12 months, but I made a decision and gave myself permission to reset, reset and allow myself to refocus on all the magic that is possible in this world.
‘I committed to change, discipline, creating a (sometimes very uncomfortable) morning routine and gave myself grace along the way when days didn’t go as planned and I had so much fun doing it!’

Cam concluded: ‘I have loved the process it has brought me and I dare say that through it I am addicted and now engaged on another level.
‘All I know now is that when you commit and find your reason, anything is possible for you in all aspects of life! So get what you want. I’m here to encourage you every morning, every step, all the way!’
Cam’s famous friends were impressed, including jockey Blake Spriggs, who commented: “Great effort, mate!”
Singer Bonnie Anderson chimed in: ‘Yes, legend! This is epic,” while Ivan Sarakula added: “Wise words and message, my friend. Glad to see you and your family well.”
The improved health comes after news that Cameron suffered an illness while on holiday in Bali.
