Married At First Sight’s Ellie Dix and her boyfriend Jono McCullough have taken a brutal swipe at her ex-boyfriend Ben Walters.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the new couple expressed their disappointment and frustration with Walters after he labeled his ex-girlfriend a “cold-hearted woman” and wiped his butt with her recent New Idea cover.
Ellie and Jono described Ben as “desperate” and “fame-hungry”, and criticized his attempts to tarnish their image publicly.
‘I’ve blocked Ben’s number because he keeps posting online to get his five minutes. “I can’t take any contact away from him,” Ellie said.
“It’s not as nice as it seems.”

Jono added: “He’s just desperate, the show didn’t do well for him, it didn’t do well for me either, but I don’t feel the need to try and post nasty things about him.”
Jono also commented on one of Walters’ strangest acts of protest against them.
‘I saw he got our New Idea cover story and wiped his ass. That was actually the funniest thing I’ve ever seen him do. I’ll give you that, Ben. Actually, that wasn’t so bad. The rest of your stuff is garbage,’ he said.

It comes after the tour guide sensationally claimed Ellie told him during the Honesty Box task on her honeymoon that she had broken up with a boyfriend just before filming began so she could take part in the social experiment.

If they had shown everything, viewers would have seen Ellie’s flaws from the beginning along with mine. Ellie accused Walters of seeking attention through social media antics at her expense.
“I feel like Ben really just wants to get clicks and likes and that’s fine, but don’t get me into that,” she said.
‘He was trying to make memes about me. Leave me alone.’
Despite the teasing, Ellie has tried to stay on the straight and narrow.
‘As if it wasn’t doing anything to him. I was keeping silent. I wasn’t talking down or badmouthing Ben. I only applauded once and it was with a comment on Facebook; otherwise, I left it alone. But yes, he kept going for me,’ he concluded.
