Married At First Sight’s Ben Walters delivers brutal blow to Guy Sebastian, as his unlikely feud with the singer intensifies

Married At First Sight’s Ben Walters has been caught in an unlikely row with singer Guy Sebastian.

The feud began when Guy, 42, left a sarcastic comment on Kyle and Jackie O’s Instagram account last week.

“I’m disappointed they didn’t talk about his incredible songwriting skills,” Guy wrote beneath the interview, which was later reshared on the radio show’s Instagram account.

The comment, full of sarcasm, did not go unnoticed for long.

Quickly responding, tour guide Ben replied: “@guysebastian we have one thing in common: neither of us are on the lists.”

This cheeky response was a clear nod to Sebastian’s absence from the ARIA music charts.

Guy last appeared on local charts in 2021 with his album TRUTH.

It comes after Ben serenaded his girlfriend Ellie Dix with a song of his own creation, before candidly listing his complaints about their relationship.

The song, which he titled Thank You Ellie, was a way of expressing his feelings and he was seen singing the lyrics while playing the guitar in his room.

The lyrics read: “I hadn’t been aware of my fucked up behaviors until you pointed them out on that couch and I just wanted to thank you.”

Although he didn’t give Ellie a live performance, he showed her the lyrics and told her that music is “great therapy” for him, and thanked her for giving him the ultimatum during the ceremony.

He told her, ‘I ended up writing you a song, and those were the lyrics. These were all just thoughts of what you said on the couch.

Ellie burst into tears at the “thoughtful” gesture, while Ben said: “Not everyone gets a song named after them.”
