Married At First Sight star Cathy Evans has announced her engagement to her partner Richard after five years together.
The former reality star, 30, subtly revealed the exciting news via her Instagram Story on Sunday while on vacation with her boyfriend.
Sharing a selfie as a newly engaged couple, Cathy seemed delighted with her new status as fiancée.
“First photo together as an engaged couple where I’m not sobbing,” she captioned the photo.
Cathy, who appeared on the Channel Nine dating show in 2020, later shared a separate video thanking her followers for their well wishes and congratulations.
In the clip, the New Zealand-born influencer showed off her enormous oval-cut diamond engagement ring set in gold.

‘We’re in the biggest love bubble (right now) and our friends just got back from our trip, so they’ll be on and off social media. More will come later, my loves.’
Cathy debuted her relationship with Richard in August 2020, but recently stated that the couple has been together for five years.
The reality star met police officer Richard shortly after filming Nine’s social experiment.
“I think I fell in love with every aspect of Ritchie’s being — he’s very supportive and believes in me, and I’m very excited about that,” she told NW magazine in 2020.
‘We see a future together and are already thinking about which suburb we would buy or build a house in. And children will emerge. No dates yet, but wait!’
He previously explained that he wouldn’t share many photos of them together because he was “very private.”
‘Today is a special day. “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday and I don’t share it on Insta simply because I like to keep my love life private,” she wrote.
