Married at First Sight sexologist Alessandra Rampolla shares a big change to Intimacy Week she wants to see next season

Alessandra Rampolla has revealed that she would like to see a change to Married at First Sight in the future.

The show’s resident sexologist revealed that the famous Intimacy Week may look a little different next year.

Throughout the week, couples on the show explore physical and emotional intimacy as they connect in their marriages.

But Alessandra says that one very important topic of conversation that she hopes will be brought up in the future during the sessions – money.

Struggles over finances are a common reason couples clash, and Alessandra says she wants to include it as a topic during Intimacy Week.

“We talk a lot about intimacy in the experiment, and I always talk about how the intimacy week in particular is not just about sexuality, it’s about building trust,” she says. Yahoo this week.

‘This is an area that can really help build trust. Can you feel comfortable enough around someone to reveal these things that you care deeply about?

‘If you are able to do that, it shows you are starting to feel like you have the right connection with your partner.’

Alessandra says there have been instances where couples on the show have argued about bills and money.

“It’s as simple as having the chat beforehand and understanding what those expectations are,” she explained.

Last year, sales of sex toys exploded after they were featured during Intimacy Week on Married At First Sight.

The couples were given a ‘goody bag’ of toys and instructed in their use by sexologist Alessandra.

Adam Lea, head of marketing for adult retailer Wild Secrets, which supplied the items, told Daily Mail Australia that sales were booming.
