Married At First Sight was left in chaos after a very awkward revelation about a “wife swap” came to light on Wednesday night’s episode.
The reality show has returned to E4 for a brand new series and after three hugely successful seasons, two BAFTA nominations and even a baby, the upcoming fourth series is set to bring more love and drama than ever before.
The first dinner was seen in the latest episode of the E4 show with experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas looking on.
Despite Holly Ditchfield and Alex Henry’s relationship going well until now, a fight between them brought drama to the dinner after Sacha Jones revealed what he had said during the bachelor party.
According to Sacha, Alex told her husband Ross McCarthy that he would be open to “swapping partners” if he didn’t like them.

Despite Holly Ditchfield and Alex Henry getting along well so far, a fight between them brought drama to the dinner after Sacha Jones revealed what he had said during the bachelor party.
Alex didn’t know Holly when the comment was made, but she was upset by what she considered a “disrespectful” approach to participating in the marriage experiment.
Alex tried to explain himself by saying: ‘I said, ‘If I don’t like my wife, I’m not going to try something with someone I don’t like.’
Holly insisted that her attitude was “giving off a bad vibe”, to which Alex defensively replied: “You’re just coming at me from the corner of your eye.”
He added: “If you keep talking about me, the conversation is over.”
Then Holly stormed out in a dramatic rage, leaving the rest of the dinner guests reeling.
She then decided to spend the night apart from him, as he later told producers: “I don’t think I can get over this.”
Fans loved the drama and wrote on X after watching the episode: “That dinner was so wild.”
“Oh my God, and this is just the first dinner! Imagine the drama when we get to the fifth or sixth!”

‘How can this be the first and possibly the most chaotic dinner party in history?’
‘This dinner will bring together a lot of people who are here for the drama and not the process #MAFS.’
‘So this dinner has turned into a real spectacle! And so the drama begins!’
This comes after viewers were left divided over Polly and Adam’s romance during their disastrous honeymoon, which was shown on Tuesday night’s show, with many accusing him of cheating on her.
The programme showed Polly, a 28-year-old careers adviser from Kent, on her honeymoon with barber Adam, 33, from Nottingham.
The couple consummated their marriage on their wedding night, but after Adam failed to show her physical intimacy during their honeymoon, she began to feel insecure.
Adam told her she was a “slow” person when it came to relationships, but later admitted that she wasn’t his “type.”
On their honeymoon, Holly asked him: ‘We did it on our wedding night, and now it hasn’t happened all week.
Obviously, it would be good for me to hear from you, as to how your head is right now.
Adam replied, “It’s nothing on your part. I know it’s a bad thing, but it’s not you, it’s me. I feel like it can change.”
“I like you and I’ve gotten to know you. I’ve realized how amazing you are and what a good person you are.”
Polly replied on the verge of tears: “That was really sweet. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard such positive praise from someone or a partner.”
“The fact that you’ve come so far in such a short time is huge.”
And viewers were left divided over their future, with some saying they were a bad match, while others thought he was cheating on Polly.
They wrote on X: ‘#MAFS I think #Polly is too good for #Adam. Here’s a tip – don’t give someone mixed messages and sleep with them if you’re not sure! Adam wants a skinny brunette! That’s clearly worked well for him in the past. Give Polly a chance – she’s gorgeous and seems lovely.’
‘Polly seems willing to take whatever scraps Adam throws at her because she’s been treated badly in the past and Adam knows it. #MAFSUK #mafs.’,
‘Polly, stop taking the crumbs Adam offers you. Raise your standards babe! He’s giving you the bare minimum and you’re ready to take your knickers off again. You deserve better than a bowl head! #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFSUK #MarriedAtFirstSightUK.’
‘Polly is giving Adam too much power. She likes you enough to sleep with you. Tell her you don’t have time to waste and you don’t have to wait for him either. #MAFSUK #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight #MarriedAtFirstSightuk’,
‘Polly, have some respect for yourself and stop embarrassing yourself by asking Adam if he finds you attractive every 5 minutes.’
‘Polly, leave Adam now. You’re wasting your time, he doesn’t deserve you #mafsuk #mafs’,
Elsewhere, Polly and Adam came to blows after he was accused of cheating on her during their honeymoon.
She ended up leaving the dinner in tears, while fans took to X to share their shock at all the drama.
‘Adam was going to attack Adam for just wanting to get rid of him because he knows he doesn’t like Polly, but she knew that too and tried. #mafs #MAFSUK #mafshysteria.’,
“Adam on MAFS has a lot of nerve. Polly is lovely and doesn’t deserve to be made to feel bad by someone with an inflated ego. There are so many red flags.”
This came after viewers were left furious and questioning the experts’ matchmaking skills, after “shallow” boyfriend Adam declared he was “not attracted” to his girlfriend Polly.
