Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn has unleashed on ex-boyfriend Jono McCullough, claiming his recent comments about her behavior on the show are “100 per cent made up”.
Jono recently recounted a heated moment during the reunion finale episode where Lauren’s actions and reports that she had a secret boyfriend in Bali before the show were publicly criticized by her co-star Jayden Eynaud.
“Jayden (Eynaud) said, ‘That’s it, Lauren, shut up. You treated Jono like shit. You had a boyfriend,” she said, adding that she became upset because of this confrontation.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, Lauren responded to Jono’s claims.
“The claims that I was crying at the table because of Jayden (and his comments) are 100 percent made up,” she said.

“I wasn’t crying because of Jono and Ellie’s relationship, I was crying because I was so overwhelmed by the lack of decorum displayed at the table.”
Jono and Ellie made a provocative entrance as they arrived at the final dinner as a newly formed couple, after striking up a romance behind Jono’s girlfriend Lauren’s back.
The reunion dinner erupted with several confrontations and foul-mouthed rants among the participants.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, Lauren responded to Jono’s claims. “The claims that she was crying at the table because of Jayden (and his comments) are 100 percent made up,” she said.
“For Jono to try to blame his friend Jayden, unfortunately it’s not out of character for him,” Lauren said.
“He has gone out of his way to not only throw mud at me himself, but also to enlist the help of current and former MAFS participants to do his dirty work for him.”
Lauren also told Daily Mail Australia that, contrary to the show’s editing perception, the night of the reunion ended happily.

“The night ended with everyone laughing and joking, Jono and I had a nice evening together and ended the meeting without any animosity,” he said.
‘I hope these media attacks can end now. I am very happy and wish the same for all the other participants in the experiment.’
Ahead of the dramatic reunion special, tensions came to a head on the show when Lauren finally confronted her husband Jono for texting fellow girlfriend Ellie after she left the show.
Lauren also told Daily Mail Australia that, contrary to the show’s editing perception, the night of the reunion ended happily: “The night ended with everyone laughing and joking, Jono and I had a nice evening together and we wrapped up the reunion without animosity.” ‘
Lauren’s heart shattered when she discovered her boyfriend was secretly texting Ellie.
In one dramatic episode, Lauren demanded to see Jono’s iPhone, only to discover that he had texted Ellie hundreds of times after she abandoned the experiment.
‘You approached her. It’s not just about conveying information that happened the night before, but it’s more than that. My stomach dropped,” Lauren told Jono.
Jono eventually admitted that he had been secretly texting Ellie, but attempted to downplay their relationship as simply platonic before arriving arm in arm with Ellie at the reunion dinner.
