Drama was at an all-time high on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight when Bryce Ruthven sarcastically called Rebecca Zemek a “ queen ” and planted an unwanted kiss on her cheek.
And you could ease the tension with a knife on Wednesday’s episode when Bryce and his ‘wife’ Melissa Rawson arrived late for the dinner.
Noticing the silence and pained expressions on the participants’ faces, viewers flocked to Twitter, with one that Melissa describes as a “ robot ” following Bryce.

‘Melissa is like a robot at Bryce. She’s completely lost herself in this nasty toxicity, ” one told online.
“Bryce and Melissa’s relationship really scares me,” said another.
‘I think we all know that Melissa is terrified to hear the other women’s opinions on how they think she should kick Bryce to the sidewalk,’ one also posted.

However, it wasn’t all negative, with some blaming producers for the awkward scenes on camera.
“The experts are responsible for this combination of Melissa and Bryce,” one said.
Another added: ‘I am completely convinced that Bryce and Melissa are grower plants. Drama easily happens at any group gathering, and there’s no way they could get the exclusive guest house on retreat without the help of the producer. ‘

The tension was unprecedented when Bryce, 30, and Melissa, 31, arrived at the dinner, while Rebecca, 27, noticed how “the mood had already changed.”
After a short greeting, Melissa distanced herself from the other women and poured herself a drink.
“I think this is the quietest dinner I’ve ever been to,” added Rebecca.

It wasn’t until dinner was served that Melissa broke her silence, defended her husband, and revealed what they don’t see behind the scenes.
“I didn’t crack, I have to stand up for him, even though I don’t speak for the actions of certain events, I only speak for us,” Melissa said.
Married At First Sight continues on Channel Nine on Sunday at 7 p.m.
