The cast of Married At First Sight have been left devastated after being told they will not be invited to this year’s Logie Awards next month.

Despite the show being nominated for an award, some prominent cast members are furious about their exclusion from the prestigious event.

Scheduled for August 18 in Sydney, the glamorous event will bring together television’s biggest names.

According to a close source, Several cast members who were initially promised invitations have now been informed that they will no longer be attending.

“The cast was told it was a Channel Seven event and the number of invitations given to Channel Nine talent would be extremely limited,” the source said.

Seven’s unexpected decision has left many cast members feeling “betrayed and disappointed.”

With 24 contestants on the show this year, it was always anticipated that only a select few would get invites due to the limited numbers provided by the network.

This comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that only a select few, if any, entrants would be considered to attend this year’s ceremony.

Experts Mel Schilling, John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla are likely to attend to represent the program.

Despite their strong presence, Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams are unlikely to receive an invitation following their controversial appearances on the show.

“Nobody has any idea what’s going on. (The cast) have no idea what’s going on,” a source told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Some are furious because they decided to behave thinking they would get an invitation, but now they are told they most likely won’t go.’
