A woman and a man are in hospital with stab wounds after a knife attack in Sydney’s inner west.
Paramedics were called to Sydenham Road in Marrickville just before 6pm where they found the two injured people near Marrickville High School.
A man in his 30s suffered injuries to his neck, back and face, while an older woman suffered injuries to her neck.

The man was seen with blood coming from his head as he was taken to an ambulance.
She is now fighting for her life at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where the woman is in serious condition.
Police is on the case.
