Mark Wahlberg showcased his dramatic body transformation after trying to “ put on as much weight as possible ” for his role as a boxer turned priest in the upcoming film Father Stu.
After revealing, he planned to put on 30 pounds in six weeks Jimmy Kimmel Live! Last month, the 49-year-old shared an update on his progress with his more than 16.3 million Instagram followers.

Wahlberg’s shirtless photo from three weeks ago showed him with his muscular figure in the gym.
The second photo, taken after he deliberately put on the pounds, captured him in bed looking visibly heavier without his washboard abs.
Speaking of his plans to arrive for the role, the Boogie Nights star said he wanted to eat “ everything in sight ” after following a strict nutritional regimen for “ so long. ” ‘

‘I want to go to the bakery. I want to go to Denny’s. I want to get pancakes. I want to get everything I can get, ”he told Kimmel.
It’s a far cry from the star’s usual fit regimen.
In 2018, Wahlberg shocked his followers when he revealed his carefully regulated schedule.
He claimed his ‘typical’ day started with waking up at 2.30am, followed by ‘prayer time’ 15 minutes later.
His 3:15 am breakfast was followed by a workout from 3:40 am to 5:15 am, which he followed up with a ‘post-workout meal’ and a shower.
The Boogie Nights star rippled at 7:30 am and used a cryo chamber to recover at 9:30 am, with a short break for a snack in between
Pressure: In 2018, Wahlberg shocked his fans by claiming that he wakes up at 2:30 am most days and has a busy day full of workouts and little time to relax, before going to bed at 7:30 pm.
Much of the late morning to noon and evening was devoted to his job, whether related to his Hollywood career or his business investments, such as his Wahlburgers restaurant chain.
His family was given two blocks of four hours in total, although one of the places on the roster was also shared with “meetings” and “work calls.”
Some social media fans wondered if the schedule posted on Wahlberg’s Insta Stories was correct, given the relentless schedule and lack of much downtime.

The role in Father Stu will be a sort of return to form for Wahlberg, who scored a Best Picture nomination as a producer in 2010 for the David O. Russell movie The Fighter.
Mark portrayed the titular character, boxer Micky Ward, in the film.
Father Stu is a faith-based biopic loosely based on the late father Stuart Long, who started his career as a boxer and eventually became a priest.
The film, which has been dear to Wahlberg for a number of years, was written and directed by Gibson’s girlfriend Rosalind Ross.
When he’s done with Father Stu, Wahlberg will have to slim down or turn the 30 pounds of fat into muscle when he takes on the title role in The Six Billion Dollar Man.
