Mark latham’s gay tweet to alex greenwich was called out by kyle sandilands

Date:

Kyle and Jackie O’ Mark Latham has been slammed as ‘homophobic’ after he sent a hateful tweet to a gay MP – where the NSW One Nation leader is hiding.

Latham posted a vile letter Thursday morning in response to Independent MP Alex Greenwich, whom he called an “absolutely hateful and dangerous… (and) disgusting human being”.

Greenwich has slammed Latham after LGBTQI protesters were attacked by Christian Lives Matters demonstrators outside a Sydney church where Latham was giving a speech on religious freedom and parental rights last week.

Then Latham responded to Greenwich with a tweet, in which he said: “Nasty? How does it compare to sticking a d*** up a bloke’s a*** and covering it up with an s***? ‘

On Friday, KIIS FM broadcasters Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O. Henderson called out Latham for his homophobic comments, issuing a message of support for Greenwich.

“He’s very handsome, well dressed,” Sandilands said of Greenwich.

Sandilands made a comment about Latham’s lack of understanding of sexual hygiene and ‘gushing’ to the show’s gay news vendor Brooklyn Ross.

The Sandilands then attacked Latham, saying, “Some of these old folks, they put their opinions their way.”

Gay newsreader Brooklyn Ross argued that Latham “wasn’t even that old.”

Every gay person, he calls what we do disgusting. I mean this guy is a homophobe.

Ross added, “When Pauline Hanson tells you you’ve gone too far…”

“You are in trouble now!” Jackie O agreed.

Latham wrote: “Nasty? How does it compare to sticking a d*** up a bloke’s a*** and covering it up with an s***? ‘

Meanwhile, Latham went into hiding amid widespread public outrage.

Greenwich said on Friday he did not want to waste his time dealing with the now-deleted One Nation MP’s post, but admitted it affected him.

“It is very painful when there is such a vile attack against homosexuals,” said the Sydney member.

This isn’t the first time this has happened to me… This hurt, though, quickly turned into a drive to make sure we repeal laws that allow my community to be discriminated against.

“Just as Mr Latham’s comments are, the impact of the current legislation in NSW is even more dire.”

Greenwich said he did not expect an apology from Mr Latham nor did he expect any remedy in the New South Wales Parliament.

Hanson posted a damning video to Facebook Thursday night where she explained that her party didn’t “condone” her co-star’s comments.

One Nation federal leader Sen. Hanson has joined the wave of criticism of Latham, and said she has tried to contact the controversial lawmaker several times to ask him to issue a public apology but he has not responded.

I’ve already tried contacting Mark several times, to no avail. And obviously I sent him a text telling him my views.

I asked him to give people an apology. I’ll leave it at this. It is now up to Mark to respond to the people.

Even one of Latham’s biggest supporters, Andrew Bolt, the conservative Sky News host, called him out.

“It was so disgusting, so homophobic, and so despicable in a pornographic way that I can’t even hint at what he said about gay politician Alex Greenwich,” Bolt said.

But it was the kind of scammer writes. I don’t think he will ever live it. He will be an outcast, and not just here in heaven.

Bolt said this is a “real problem” for One Nation founder and federal leader Pauline Hanson.

Latham pollutes her. I tried to control it, but now this is it, he said.

“Does Latham know that Hanson’s closest advisor in years, a big guy, is himself gay?”

Several political commentators also called for Latham to resign after the homophobic comments.

Mark Latham is unfit to serve as a Member of Parliament and must resign. This is not a partisan view, it is the only acceptable consequence of his consciously chosen actions, said a spokesperson for Mark Lawyers.

“There is no place in public service for someone who expresses such destructive bigotry as is the case today.”

“Latham should resign from any public office he holds,” said Craig Wallace, head of policy at Advocacy for Inclusion.

The story began last week after up to 500 “Christian Lives Matter” protesters clashed with a small group of LGBT protesters outside St Michaels Church in Bielfield, in Sydney’s southwest, where Latham was giving a speech.

The activists alleged that Christians of Matter had thrown stones and bottles at them. Police said the large crowd also threw glass bottles at the officers. One of the policemen was taken to Canterbury Hospital with injuries to his hand.

The horrific clash was captured on film and showed the Christian group shouting insults at the activists.

At one point, a man is seen throwing a punch into the crowd, only for it to connect to the back of the woman’s head.

Then he heard her screaming and crying as a friend wrapped his arm around her.

Latham later revealed that the police had warned him not to speak that night.

If I hadn’t made my speech, going straight home would have allowed transgender protesters to negate free speech and democratic rights as an electoral candidate, things that are sacred to me and have been running for 35 years running in local and federal elections. And the state,” he said at the time.

I did not see what happened on the front street, but I sincerely convey my best wishes to the injured and thank the police officers involved for their work. No one should take the law into their own hands. Violence in political events is wrong.
