Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban told DailyMail.com on Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris can “absolutely” win in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Cuban was on hand Wednesday as Harris laid out her economic vision at an invitation-only event at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

The Shark Tank star said he would be willing to do “whatever I can” to get Harris across the finish line in the key must-win state.

“I’m from Pittsburgh, so I get to meet and talk to a lot of people and, you know, take pictures and sign autographs and do what I have to do,” Cuban said of his role boosting the Democratic nominee against former President Donald Trump.

In her remarks at Steel City, Harris criticized Trump for his record on manufacturing, calling him “one of the biggest losers in history.”

“Look, my opponent Donald Trump… well, he makes big promises on manufacturing,” Harris said.

“Just yesterday Trump promised to bring back manufacturing jobs,” the Democrat continued. “If that sounds familiar, it should.”

“He made the same promise about the Carrier plant in Indianapolis in 2016,” Harris said.

He pointed out how Carrier then relocated hundreds of jobs to Mexico During Trump’s term.

“And it wasn’t just there, during Trump’s term, offshoring increased and manufacturing jobs declined across our country and across our economy; in total, nearly 200,000 manufacturing jobs were lost during his presidency, starting before the pandemic hit,” Harris continued.

“This is making Trump one of the biggest losers in the history of manufacturing,” he said, to laughter and applause.

Trump told a crowd in Savannah on Tuesday that he would force foreign companies to manufacture products in the United States by threatening them with tariffs.

Harris’ 40-minute economic speech touched on both Pittsburgh’s past as a manufacturing powerhouse and its tech-driven present, with CMU an innovator in areas like robotics.

She talked about strengthening American manufacturing and helping startups gain access to capital, and criticized Trump for harming small businesses as well.

Harris’s campaign goal is to try to narrow some of Trump’s lead in polls on the economy, which voters typically consider their No. 1 issue this election cycle, especially at a time when inflation is hitting the pocketbooks of average Americans.

“I have pledged that building a strong middle class will be the defining goal of my presidency,” he said.

As a surrogate for Harris’ campaign, Cuban has been trying to convince people that it is Harris, not Trump, who has a plan.

“When you talk to your staff about crafting a policy, they literally roll up their sleeves and try to understand it,” Cuban said. “And when you do that as if it were a real company, you’re not just going to be impulsive with everything you’re going to say.”

Cuban said Wednesday that he believes Trump’s lead on the economy is “dwindling.”

I mean people are realizing “Having a well thought-out plan is much better than someone who just talks the talk,” he told DailyMail.com.
