Marjorie Taylor Greene slams MAGA favorite Laura Loomer for saying Kamala Harris would make the White House “smell like curry”
  • MTG called it an “extremely racist” attack against Trump’s rival
  • Loomer, who has been traveling with Trump, accused Greene of exploiting him.

A deep rift in Trump’s world erupted for all to see after the debate when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene lashed out at Trump confidante Laura Loomer for an “extremely racist post” and criticized her “hateful tone.”

The frontal attack by MAGA loyalist Greene came after Trump adviser Loomer traveled with Trump on his plane to the debate in Philadelphia, where Trump aired a conspiracy theory about immigrants eating pets, leading some forecasters to say the performance did serious damage to his campaign.

Loomer, who has put forth a number of conspiracy theories, has also made posts defending the 9/11 theory and accompanied Trump to Ground Zero on Tuesday for the 9/11 commemorations.

The Georgia lawmaker reposted a statement from Loomer on X in which she claimed that if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election, “the White House will smell like curry and White House speeches will be facilitated through a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that no one will understand.” That post is from Sept. 8.

“This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or who we are in MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should never be tolerated.

Loomer downplayed the attack on Harris’s Indian ancestry, saying she was joking. Trump himself said he was okay with Harris’s racial identity after being asked at the debate about his earlier comment that she had “turned” black.

“I don’t care what she is. I don’t care. If you make a big deal about something, I couldn’t care less. Whatever she wants to be is fine with me,” Trump said of Harris at the debate.

Loomer has also called herself a “proud Islamophobe” and “pro-white nationalist.” Trump endorsed her failed bid for Congress in 2020.

The attack by Greene, who is a lightning rod in the Republican House of Representatives, comes after several conservative commentators, including Brit Hume on Fox News Channel, said Harris won the debate and said Trump “repeatedly took the bait” amid Harris’ attacks.

Green unleashed yet more attacks on Capitol Hill on Thursday. “I’m concerned about his rhetoric and his hateful tone. To me, a lot of the comments he makes and how he attacks Republicans like myself, a lot of other Republicans who are strong supporters of President Trump, I think are a huge problem, and that doesn’t represent MAGA as a whole,” he told DailyMail.com and a group of reporters amid the ongoing fallout.

“I normally try to ignore her post, but someone had sent me that post about Kamala Harris and it really bothered me. And you know, my personality, everyone knows I’m outspoken, and I felt like it was time to call it out. I think it’s wrong. We’re not a party of identity politics. We’re a party for all Americans,” the lawmaker said.

Loomer, who traveled with Donald Trump to the debate and on 9/11, continued to post on Wednesday about the pet-eating conspiracy that Trump mentioned at the debate.

Loomer, who traveled with Donald Trump to the debate and on 9/11, continued to post on Wednesday about the pet-eating conspiracy that Trump mentioned at the debate.

The senator called for attacking Harris on inflation and the border, “not attacking them because they may not have children and they love their pets, and I don’t want anything to do with that.” That appeared to be a reference to both the pet-eating conspiracy theory Trump promoted and his running mate J.D. Vance’s earlier comment about “cat ladies without children.”

Loomer accused Greene of infidelity and referred to a shocking report from DailyMail.com

‘While you were busy having sexual affairs, cheating on your husband and getting divorced, and supporting @SpeakerMcCarthy and engaging in insider trading in Congress @MTG, I broke many of the stories about the legal war waged against President Trump.’

“I’ve done all the heavy lifting while you’ve written books and attacked Trump’s closest allies in an effort to elevate yourself,” he wrote.

She continued to tweet about the breakup throughout the day on Thursday. “I stand by everything I said. I will not be deleting any tweets.”

Loomer also did not back down from comments Trump made about pet consumption during the debate.

“They’re eating the dogs. They’re eating the cats. It’s time to send them back,” he posted.

Axios reported that Loomer was “baiting” Trump en route to the debate, even as her advisers advised her to attack Harris on the economy and try to link her to President Biden.

Greene herself has been a lightning rod, calling the January 6 defendants housed in a D.C. jail “political prisoners.”
