Greene tweeted the video calling Trump the “ leader of the R party ” saying his America First policy will “ lead our party to victory in ’22 AND in ’24. ”
Greene, in turn, told Trump that “people love you” and thanked the former president for his positive words.
“Great to spend time today with the best (and my president), Donald J. Trump in Mar a Lago!” she tweeted, calling him the “leader of the R Party.”
Greene has been flaunting plans to go to Mar-a-Lago and meet Trump since Feb. 1.
‘I am excited to visit him soon and to keep calling and talking to him regularly. Good news is that he supports me 100 percent and I have always supported him, ”she said at the time.
At the time, she got heat from a handful of Republicans and groups of Democrats over controversial posts and beliefs on social media.
Senate leader Mitch McConnell, without saying Greene’s name, called her “crazy lies” a “cancer for the Republican Party.”
Someone who has suggested that perhaps no plane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that gruesome school shootings had been staged beforehand, and that the Clintons took JFK Jr.’s plane. did not live in reality, ”McConnell said.
Greene has also pushed the conspiracy theory QAnon.
In social media posts, she supported the execution of house speaker Nancy Pelosi, which angered Democrats.
Since the, the House Demoratic majority, has thrown Greene from the committees that the freshman congressman participated in.
She has spent her time trolling Democratic lawmakers in the halls of Congress and on social media and putting forward proposals for the House to adjourn before the partisan bills are paid off.
Those votes, which can delay proceedings by up to an hour, have also annoyed Republican lawmakers.
Still, Greene has done nothing to shake the support of Trump, who has been hosting a Republican parade at his Florida resort since his departure in January.
