Attacking Republic of Ukraine Marjorie Taylor Greene alleged that Jacques Teixeira is on trial for being “white, Christian and anti-war”.
The Republican congresswoman, who represents Georgia’s 14th district, blasted the FBI for bringing the case.
Green took to Twitter to praise the 21-year-old for “telling the truth” about Vladimir Putin’s all-out invasion of Ukraine.
The leaked files detail potential arms deliveries to Ukraine, as well as identifying the number of foreign intelligence agents inside the country.

Green, a 48-year-old Republican, wants to end all US support for Ukraine immediately

Jacques Teixeira, 21, appeared in a Boston court earlier on Friday to face charges of illegally leaking classified US intelligence information.

Teixeira was arrested by FBI agents at his mother’s home in North Dayton, Mass., on Thursday
“Jake Teixeira white, male, Christian, anti-war,” she wrote, spelling his first name incorrectly. “That makes him an enemy of the Biden regime.”
“He told the truth about the presence of troops on the ground in Ukraine and much more,” added the 48-year-old. Ask yourself, who is the real enemy?
Green alleged that the Biden administration and the Pentagon “have been caught lying about the war they are financing and fighting against Russia.”
She said the White House was planning to tighten regulation on social media after the leak, in what it called “total government censorship”.
Her series of social speeches came as a member of the National Guard before a court in Boston, Massachusetts to face two counts of leaking classified information.
Green, an advocate of ending US military support to Ukraine, has repeatedly repeated pro-Moscow talking points since the start of Russia’s all-out invasion.
It falsely claimed that the Ukrainian government had been overrun by the Nazis, and accused Kiev of misappropriating Western financial support.
The congresswoman says US aid, currently about $77 billion according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, should be spent on combating illegal immigration.
The US government has demanded stricter checks and a review of where the money goes.
Echoing Moscow’s position on ending the conflict, Green added: “We must forge peace in Ukraine, not finance war and be fooled by Zelensky and his cronies.”
But US military personnel, led by Brigadier General Garrick Harmon, have been in Ukraine since last year tracking arms shipments.

Green accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, without evidence, of embezzling Western financial support.

A gruesome video showing a Wagner fighter beheading a Ukrainian soldier surfaced online earlier this week
Mike Lawler, a Republican representing New York’s 17th District, criticized Green’s support of Teixeira, calling him an “enemy of America”.
“Leaking confidential documents, especially those that are sensitive in nature, is an offense and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Lawler said.
“His behavior is indefensible and must be universally condemned,” he added.
Green boasted of voting against further support for the Ukrainian military despite evidence of war crimes committed by Vladimir Putin’s forces.
Earlier this week, a horrific video surfaced online showing a pro-Kremlin mercenary Wagner beheading a Ukrainian soldier.
UN investigators have also uncovered evidence of deliberate attacks on civilians, rape and torture by the Russian military.
