Although Kondo was known as an organizational expert, Kondo has been able to learn to let go of the idea of ’a perfectly tidy house’ since she became a mother.
“ When I first became a mom, I felt frustrated when I couldn’t tidy up my house exactly the way I wanted, ” she explained in a recent blog post, as reported by Us weekly.
‘Then, after having my second child, I didn’t even have the energy to think about some of my past practices around the house! Motherhood has taught me to forgive myself more. The joy that comes from parenthood surpasses any satisfaction that could come from a perfectly tidy home. ‘
Kondo and Kawahara have been married since 2012.
