She set the records right after reports surfaced that not all was as it seemed with her record company.

And Mariah Carey denied an “explosive” argument with Jay-Z and Roc Nation when she shared a look back at their 1999 Heartbreaker video Monday morning.

The 51-year-old legend responded last week to reports that she had broken her business relationship with the rapper just three and a half years after signing with his management company Roc Nation.

Mariah took to Twitter to assure her legions of fans that everything was fine between the two music moguls.

“The only “explosive” situation I would ever “get in” with Hov is a creative tangent, like our number 1 song “Heartbreaker”!!’ she wrote. “To the people who make up these lies, I say ‘Poof! – Vamoose, sonofa*****’!”

The superstars reportedly had a “burning row” over the future of Carey’s career, which reportedly inspired the star to look for a new manager with “complete faith in her.”

“Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting that didn’t go well at all. She’s made it clear that she doesn’t want anything to do with him anymore and has quit Roc Nation,” a source said. The sun on Friday.

The insider continued: “She will formally leave in the coming weeks. It’s a shame because they’ve done a great job over the years. But this meeting couldn’t have gone much worse.’

Carey is said to have already started ‘talking to other managers’ and let nothing ‘get in her way’.

Roc Nation has already removed the artist from their website, which lists the talent they represent.

A source close to the situation refuted previous claims by telling DailyMail.com that reports of a “feud” between Mariah and Jay-Z are “just not true.”

“Mariah’s relationship with Roc Nation ended amicably and Mariah and Jay-Z get on well,” the insider said.

She also signed an Apple TV+‌ deal for Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special for the 25th anniversary of her holiday hit.

In 2018, while on better terms, she reflected on their first collaboration for her 1999 song Heartbreaker.

“We were at Mr. Chow’s in New York – this is before everyone in the world knew who he was,” she recalled their friendship during an interview with iHeart radio.

In the same year, she was featured in his song, Things That U Do, as she said they had “a history as friends and as collaborators.”
