Maria Thattil has checked herself into a wellness retreat amid her new romance with AFLW star Moana Hope.
The former Miss Universe Australia star, 30, told her followers on Sunday that she would disappear from social media as a result.
“I’m not going to be as active here for the next week as I’ve checked myself into a health and wellness retreat,” Maria said.
Maria said it “took a long time” and she had been dealing with a busy schedule for the past year or more.
‘I’ve been sick a lot. “I’ve been sick every week for the past four or five weeks and it’s like my body isn’t keeping up,” she said.
Maria went on to say that she was approaching the “burnout phase,” which she wanted to avoid.
“I’ve been busy and there’s an incredible amount of things happening year after year, but if I don’t take a break I think I’m approaching that burnout stage.”
Maria explained that her “body not keeping up” is “taking a toll on her mental health,” which is why she wanted to turn it off.
Maria said she was “lucky enough to work with great clients,” but she just wanted to focus on her health right now.

“I’ve been busy and there’s such an incredible array of things happening year after year, but if I don’t take a break I think I’m approaching that burnout stage,” Maria said
‘I do have some work that’s going live this week. But other than that, for the first time in years, I’m off social media,” she said.
“I’m really looking forward to switching off and taking a break and slowing down. I don’t want to share it. I just want this to be for me.”
Maria did not share the retreat that she will deal with her exhaustion.
The move comes amid her high-profile romance with AFLW star and former Australian Survivor star Moana Hope, who was recently criticized for moving on with Maria too quickly.

“I’m really looking forward to switching off and taking a break and slowing down. I don’t want to share it. I just want this to be for me,” she added in the clip. Pictured
Moana only announced her divorce from wife Isabella Carlstrom in May.
She said there are no set rules for when to move on if you break up.
“Can they send me the book on how to get divorced?” Moana said in a video on Instagram.
“Is there an index section in that book that tells you how long you have to wait before being separated from someone before you find happiness?”

She went on to say that the choice to move forward is hers.
“Whether I date one person or multiple people… Whatever decision I make for me is my choice. I don’t have to follow a book,” she said.
The sportswoman added that she was “the happiest she has been in a long time” with Maria and that her mental health has also improved.
“If I decide to date… That’s my choice. “I don’t need anyone to tell me what’s acceptable,” she said.

Moana hit back at a troll who accused her of ‘moving on too quickly’ with former Miss Australia Maria Thattil after her split from wife Isabella Carlstrom
‘Everyone is happy and healthy. Why can’t I move on?’
The athlete explained that she learned to love herself again, apart from her children who “will always come first.”
‘I’m just being me. That’s my only plan… I’m so excited about life and I’m in a good place. No amount of time can change that,” she finished.
AFLW star Moana split from her ex-wife Isabella Carlstrom last May, with whom she shares two children: daughter Svea and son Ahi.
