Maria Thattil and girlfriend Jorgee Rae enjoy a steamy moment at the model’s star-studded book launch
Former Miss Australia Maria Thattil and her girlfriend Jorgee Rae were darlings at the star-studded book launch of models for their self-help memoir Unbounded.
The 29-year-old author first launched her book on Wednesday night, where she signed copies and answered questions from readers, but Thursday’s evening at the trendy Paramount Recreation Club in Sydney’s Surry Hills appeared to be a celebrity affair.
Maria rocked the event in a stunning white gown with a thigh-high slit.
Guests at the celebrity event included Jules Robinson, Jack Vidgen, Sophie Cachia, Tina Provis, Tegan Martin, David Subritsky, Jonti Ridley, Narelda Jacobs and Antoinette Latouff.
Maria’s girlfriend Jorgia O’Hare, who is a TikTok star under the name Jorgee Rae, also supported her girlfriend on the night and they shared a steamy kiss for the paparazzi.

Guests for the evening included David Subritsky, who wore a pink Juicy Couture tracksuit.

Singer Jack Vidgen supported the model’s launch and wore a pink and orange ensemble.
Maria then took the microphone and gave an emotional speech, explaining that the memoir and self-help portion was a labor of love and the result of her release from limiting beliefs.
“I know what it’s like to not be enough and how to turn pain into power,” she said.
“You are bigger than anything you believe, and my hope is to inspire everyone to live up to who they really are.”
In the new Penguin release, the former Miss Universe Australia shares her experiences with racism, sexism and bullying, among other challenges.
Last month, the model told the world about her relationship with Jorgee, and this Saturday, the LGBTIQA+ activist will headline the Olay Glow your Own Way float at the Sydney Mardi Gras, where she will wear a custom dress in the colors of the rainbow.

Jules Robinson was among the celebrities in attendance, donning a full-length black shirtdress with gold and silver details.
