Shriver, 68, who paid a moving tribute to Bobby Kennedy’s widow last week, went makeup-free while running errands.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife wore a navy blue top, a black jacket and a long colorful skirt, combined with white and gray sneakers.
Her brunette locks were styled in a sleek half-updo as she chatted on the phone.
Following Ethel’s passing on Thursday, Shriver, the daughter of Bobby Kennedy and JFK’s sister Eunice Kennedy, shared a moving message in honor of the human rights defender.

Kennedy, the matriarch of the Kennedy dynasty and widow of former United States Attorney General Robert Kennedy, died on Thursday, October 10 after suffering a stroke (pictured in 2018).
She wrote: ‘My aunt, Ethel Kennedy, passed away this morning. What a life he led! What a great family he created and leaves behind. I am so happy I was able to laugh with her this summer and share memories with her.
‘She was a devoted sister-in-law to my mother, a unique aunt to me and my cousins. She was brave, funny, smart, an incredible athlete, patriotic, madly in love with my Uncle Bobby, and dedicated to improving our country in every way.
‘She was a woman of deep faith. When things got tough, and there were many tough times, she pushed through. She trusted her faith like my own mother.
‘They were a couple of strong and determined women. What lives, what examples. It is impossible to put your life in a title.
‘I love you, Ethel. Good luck, and to all my cousins, I send you my love on this day and every day.
Ethel had suffered a stroke in her sleep last week and was rushed to hospital.
She was one of the last links to the ‘Camelot’ era of JFK’s presidency.
The third of their 11 children, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., ran a high-profile campaign for president in 2024 as an independent candidate, before endorsing Donald Trump in August.

She was at her husband’s side when he was fatally shot in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968, just after winning the Democratic presidential primary in California.
She was pregnant with her youngest child at the time.
It was one of a series of devastating tragedies for his family.
Ethel’s brother-in-law, President John F. Kennedy, had been assassinated in Dallas less than five years earlier.
His parents died in a plane crash in 1955 and his brother died in an accident in 1966. His son David Kennedy later died of a drug overdose, his son Michael Kennedy in a skiing accident, and his nephew John F. Kennedy Jr. in a plane crash.

She spent her summers on Cape Cod, at the family’s historic compound in Hyannis Port, but largely stayed out of public life.
