Maria walked down the aisle in a flowy pink dress from Dior’s Frida Kahlo collection, in keeping with the Mexican vibe of her ceremony.
Dominique wore a white suit from the same fashion house, opting for a smart white vest with a pair of matching pants and jacket.
The brides spent much of their engagement in Mexico during the COVID-19 lockdowns, with the nation becoming their “home away from home,” they said.
For their venue, they selected the Montage Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas, which they fell in love with in part because of the “stunning” views it offered.
During the ceremony, Dominique arrived to the sound of Prince’s song KISS, accompanied by her 10-year-old daughters from a previous marriage and her former mother-in-law, who is the girls’ grandmother.
Maria then appeared in Burna Boy’s Time Flies, alongside her 23-year-old son Jackson McDermott, whom she had with studio executive Dan McDermott.
For her grand entrance at her wedding ceremony, Maria was also accompanied by her mother Kathy Bello, a teacher and nurse.
Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody played at the end of the official ceremony, after which the reception took place, and the two brides embarked on their first dance to ABBA’s Dancing Queen.
