Margot Robbie’s Oscar statue look! Barbie star looks uncomfortable as she poses in stiff corset (and not much else) at Vanity Fair after party

Margot Robbie wore one of her most daring outfits to date at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on Sunday night.

The Barbie star turned heads at the party, held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, in a gold studded corset bodysuit.

She paired the showgirl style ensemble with a bronze satin shawl and gold strappy stilettos that tied all the way up her calves.

The Aussie beauty kept her bedhead waves she sported at the awards and her make-up was brushed up.

At times, Margot appeared uncomfortable as she posed for several photos on the red carpet.

It comes after the actress’ stylist was criticized for dressing the star in an ‘unflattering’ outfit at the awards ceremony itself.

Margot ditched her trademark Barbie pink in favor of a shimmering Versace dress with a plunging neckline and unusual draping at the hips.

To accessorize, Margot wore a two-tone gold cuff and matching ring by Fred Leighton.

Critics have rushed to social media to express their disappointment with Margot’s look, labeling her outfit as underwhelming and uncomplimentary to her curvy physique.

“She should have owned the carpet. This is… not even for rent,” lamented one user, while another added: “Such a boring look. Come on.’

Margot let out a small laugh as she walked inside the arrangement

‘The most epic and stylish fashion show ever ended with this absolutely boring gap of a dress,’ commented another, referring to Margot’s very famous red carpet publicity tour for Barbie.’

‘So disappointed! I expected EPIC, they added.

Others took aim at Margot’s hair, which was left out and styled with a light bedhead texture.

‘The hair? (crying emoji),’ one critic commented, while another weighed in: ‘All her dresses are amazing but she could do better with her hair. I don’t know what her hairdresser always thinks?’

But there was plenty of positive online response to Margot’s Oscars look, with one admirer writing: ‘She looks incredible as she has all this awards season.’

“Well, damn it!” another wrote, adding a fire emoji.

Despite Barbie’s impressive eight nominations, Robbie was not nominated for Best Actress, while Greta Gerwig was not nominated for Best Director.

America Ferrera was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film, and experts said her character’s impassioned speech about feminism sealed the deal.

She lost to Da’Vine Joy Randolph for her role in The Holdovers.

Ryan Gosling also got a Best Supporting Actor nod for his portrayal of Ken, but the gong went to Oppenheimer’s Robert Downey Jr.

Barbie was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, Achievement in Production Design, and Achievement in Costume Design, but lost in all categories.

Barbie won in the Best Original Song category, with Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell winning for the film’s hit ballad ‘What Was I Made For?’

Ryan Gosling’s song ‘I’m Just Ken’ was also nominated in the same category.
