Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi have appeared together on screen as lovers in a new Chanel advert following their casting for Wuthering Heights.
The Hollywood stars, who worked on Saltburn, have been named as the new faces of Chanel No5 and have marked their new venture with a new romantic advert.
The luxury French fashion house on Monday debuted the fragrance commercial titled See You at 5, in which Australian stars Margot, 34, and Jacob, 27, appear as lovers.
The clip, directed by Luca Guadagnino, begins with Margot looking as glamorous as ever in a black dress as she sits in a window seat and checks her phone.
With a knowing smile, he writes a message that says: “See you at five,” and Margot’s voice is heard whispering the words, which are also the title of the short film.
Actress Barbie, who will soon play the romantic role of Jacob in Wuthering Heights, then puts on a chic red swimsuit and applies Chanel No5 ready for her date.
Look effortlessly chic in a red cropped jacket and matching mini skirt that flaunts iconic Chanel details and gold buttons as you hop into a luxury car.
Margot gives herself a few extra inches with a pair of simple black heels to complete her look as shots show her driving a convertible car through the California hills.
The scene then cuts to Jacob, looking as handsome as ever in a white t-shirt and smart pants as he smiles while receiving Margot’s text message.
The commercial then cuts to a stunning shot of Margot standing on a balcony looking out over the vast ocean as she waits for Jacob’s arrival.
Margot then dives into the water wearing a red halterneck swimsuit, while Jacob stands on a balcony and smiles subtly.

The commercial, directed by Luca Guadagnino, begins with Margot looking as glamorous as ever in a black dress as she sits in a window seat and checks her phone.
The couple never appear together on screen and their love story is left ambiguous, as it remains to be seen if they will ever be united for their date.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Chanel joked with a caption: “A woman… In the new film No. 5, See You at 5, Luca Guadagnino’s lens follows Margot Robbie along the roads of California.”
‘The story of the lost connections of two lovers who lead a woman towards her destiny. Will there be a date waiting for you at the end of the trip? Or is the date itself the journey?
Fans quickly took to the comments section to praise the commercial while sharing their delight at the two Australian stars appearing on screen together.
One user wrote: “Two Aussies with Chanel No. 5 faces – love it,” while another said: “Australians are really handsome.”
Margot has worked with Chanel for six years, first as a Chanel ambassador and was also named the face of Chanel’s Gabrielle perfume in 2019.
The scene then cuts to Jacob, looking as dapper as ever in a white t-shirt and smart pants as he smiles as he receives Margot’s text message.
Actress Barbie then puts on an elegant red swimsuit and applies Chanel No5 for her date as she climbs into a luxurious open-top car to head towards her lover.

‘I think Chanel N°5 is one of the most iconic fragrances in the world. “It’s amazing to be a part of this,” Margot said of her latest appointment.
‘There is an impressive lineage of women who have been associated with the fragrance over the years. “I am very honored to join that long list of incredible talents.”
Margot is following in the footsteps of other notable stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Brad Pitt, while Nicole Kidman also spearheaded the brand’s iconic perfume in 2004.
Margot and Jacob’s work with Chanel comes ahead of their time together on screen in an adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic Wuthering Heights.
In Emerald Fennell’s upcoming release, Jacob will take on the lead role of Heathcliff, while Margot will play his love interest Catherine Earnshaw.
However, the casting has proven divisive among fans, as many took issue with the two actors landing the lead roles.
Fans were baffled by the casting choice and noted that Catherine, who is no older than 19 in the novel, is being played by 34-year-old Margot.
Meanwhile, Heathcliff, whose character is about 40 years old at the end of the story, will be played by 27-year-old Jacob.
Some also took to social media to accuse producers of “whitewashing” the lead role of Heathcliff, who is described as “dark-skinned” in the novel and is the subject of racist abuse.
Some fans also criticized the decision to use actors who they felt “looked like they belonged on Instagram” in a period film set in the 19th century.
Others even questioned whether director Emerald, 38, who also directed Saltburn, had actually read Brontë’s classic novel.
Margot and Jacob’s appearance in the ad comes before their time on screen together in an adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, which has sparked some negative reactions.
Margot and Jacob are no strangers to working together, as the actress produced Saltburn, which stars Jacob, and recently gushed about him in an interview.
she said Harper’s Bazaar: ‘It’s wonderful. And as you said, I worked with him on Saltburn as a producer and actor.
“So I haven’t shared the screen with him before, but I know I’ve seen him on set, I’ve been around him on set, and he just… has an incredible presence.
‘He’s a movie star, he has that charisma. He holds a frame. He’s also really lovely and from the same state as me in Australia.
“We’re about an hour away from each other, but he’s from Brisbane and I’m from the Gold Coast.”
Of the Chanel No5 campaign, she added: “Even though the point of our film is that we cross paths and miss each other, we still feel like we did the campaign together.”
