Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, celebrated her own daughter Louetta’s first birthday this Saturday.
Rumer, 35, shares her little bundle of joy with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, who she went public with just a month before announcing her pregnancy.
Now, almost two years later, Rumer celebrated her daughter’s first birthday with a touching Instagram album of throwback snaps.
One of the images showed little Louetta being cradled by her grandmother Demi, as well as her friend, famous florist Eric Buterbaugh.
In one especially sweet photo, Louetta was being cradled by her grandfather Bruce, in the midst of his heartbreaking decline from dementia.

“Oh my sweet little daughter, I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’RE 1 This last year with you has been the best year of my life,” Rumer wrote.
‘Lou I have never known a love like yours. You are the most delicious, most beautiful, most intelligent, funniest and sweetest girl I know,’ added the showbiz legacy.
‘I can’t believe you chose me to be your mom, oh my god. Every day you grow and learn more and you are my greatest teacher and my deepest love.’
She continued: ‘You are a gift to everyone you meet and your smile is almost blinding, it is so magical. Your laugh is my favorite sound in the whole world. Your little kisses are the best to wake up. I love you so deeply in my bones, my little daughter. I can’t wait to see what next year brings!!’
Turning his attention to the rest of his family, Rumer showered Demi with gratitude “for being the best Ya Ya I could ask for, Lou loves you so much.”
He also praised his sisters Scout and Tallulah Willis, as well as his half-sisters Mabel and Evelyn, whom Bruce shares with his second wife, Emma Heming.
Rumer thanked her siblings for being “the best aunts and Emma for being extra Gma and my dad and @ericbuterbaugh for being the best Papous.”
She also praised her boyfriend and shared her gratitude “for the greatest gift of my life.” He is very lucky to have you as a dad. I can’t believe our baby girl is 1 year old.

Rumer added, “I feel so honored to have had you there to hold the container for the most tremendous and transformative day of my life.”
The actress also thanked photographer Cristina King, who documented both Louetta’s birth and her first birthday.
Her most touching thanks went to Louetta herself: “To my little Squambo, Scooby Lou, my twin, my fiery Aries wonder boy, my best friend and partner in crime. I love you more every day and I am so grateful for you.”
