Marcus Rashford’s brother and agent has taken to social media to criticize former professionals who have discussed the Manchester United star on their podcasts.
This comes after Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane spoke about Rashford during the latest episode of Stick to Football.
Neville suggested the England international is “not well”, while Keane suggested he needed a “kick up the arse”.
Ferdinand concluded that Rashford needed to “look at who’s around him”, a subtle dig at his brother and agent Dwaine Maynard.
On Instagram, Dwaine criticized podcasters, saying, “I completely understand podcasts and how they work, but if you have genuine concerns, pick up the phone.”

‘We know each other or we have crossed paths.
‘Broadcasting so-called concerns for the public to have an opinion is a bad idea and, in my opinion, click bait.
“The funny thing is that most of these programs or former professionals have asked for exclusives.”
While it’s unclear who Rashford’s brother was hinting at, the timing of Ferdinand’s appearance on Stick to Football suggests it could be towards the former Man Utd cohort on Sky.
Speaking about Rashford, Neville said: “Marcus Rashford, I don’t know how to say this, but for me there’s something not right.”
“He’s not well and it’s not just that he’s not playing well, but he doesn’t seem happy.” I look at him and think: I’m worried about him.
“We know there have been a couple of cases this season, he has been under pressure and his form has been poor, but I look at him and I think that is not right. He is not a boy who grew up with the freedom and spirit of playing in the Manchester United when I was a kid.”
Keane continued to talk about the Man Utd forward while talking about Rashford’s family.
“I wouldn’t say I’m worried about him, but you look at him and something’s wrong,” Keane said. ‘The people around him, whether it’s his family or his manager, who is aware of his case every day.
‘Who’s giving him an old-fashioned kick in the butt and saying, ‘Come on, we need more of you’? If you want to be this leader and you have big contracts, then there is that responsibility.”
Fredinand concluded by admitting that Rashford must make a decision about his future next summer.
“I think now is a crucial moment in his career, he is no longer a child,” Ferdinand said. “I think there’s a big decision to make on your part. You have to look at who’s around you, who are the outside people? Are they the right people?”
‘Are you being allowed to make excuses behind closed doors? Or are they saying, ‘look at yourself and be responsible for what you’re doing’?
“I might have to say, ‘You know what? I’m going to get rid of them and stay in Manchester, or I have to get out of Manchester and get rid of those people.'”
