Manchester United fans have criticized Marcus Rashford for his lack of defensive effort following the club’s 4-3 defeat to Chelsea.
After scoring a career-best 30 goals in all competitions last season, the 26-year-old has struggled to replicate that form this season and was ruled out for the visit to Stamford Bridge.
The England international’s lackluster performances on the field have been further marred by incidents outside of football, including a now infamous 12-hour bender in Belfast in January in which he missed a training session before a Premier League match. FA Cup.

In a post that has since received over a million views on X, one fan claimed the clip was indicative of Rashford’s overall performance for the club this season.
“He was never a good pressure player and he was never good on the defensive end, he was always a liability on our team when the opponent attacked us!” The fan wrote.
“But he was performing in attack and somehow he was able to make up for his lack of defensive effort, but with these statistics from this season… and him jogging on the field just like he does in training is the reason why I think It’s like that.” It is best for both parties to move forward with each other.
