Marc Anthony’s home in the Dominican Republic caught fire in a terrifying incident on Thursday.
The 55-year-old singer’s 10,000-square-foot compound, known as The Oasis, was filmed ablaze by a local television crew, with the roof of one of the buildings completely incinerated in the blaze.
Firefighters were seen at the scene battling the blaze, as plumes of black smoke rose into the air.
The singer’s representative confirmed to TMZ Marc, his family and his staff were safe. The Vivir Mi Vida star, his wife Nadia Ferreira, 24, and their seven children were not home at the time of the fire.
They revealed that the fire started “on one side of the property, in an area where the bungalows are located. The main house was not damaged and the firefighters were able to quickly control the fire.”

The 55-year-old singer’s 10,000-square-foot compound was filmed by a local television crew on fire, with the roof of the home, known as The Oasis, completely incinerated in the blaze, pictured before the blaze.
The representative revealed that three bungalows were burned to the ground, while one survived the blaze. A living area at the side of the property was also burned.
“The main house was not damaged and firefighters have everything under control and have launched an investigation.”
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Anthony has expressed his gratitude to the emergency services for their quick response.
The Oasis is a resort in the La Romana neighborhood of Casa de Campo that can accommodate 24 people and features two pools, cabins and pavilions, according to AD.
Anthony purchased the property with his then-wife Shannon De Lima in 2014. They separated in 2017.
He and Nadia announced on Valentine’s Day 2023 that they were expecting their first child together.
They shared their happy news with a photo of their growing baby bump that was posted jointly on their Instagram accounts.
Marc could be seen resting a tattooed hand on her growing belly, while she pressed hers on top of his as she showed off her massive diamond engagement ring.
“Best Valentine’s gift ever!!!” she wrote excitedly in her caption, before adding in Spanish: “Thank you God for this great blessing in our lives.”
The lovebirds’ pregnancy announcement came just two weeks after they tied the knot in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in January 2023 in Miami. The baby was born in June.
Marc has seven children, including 15-year-old twins Max and Emme, with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, 54.
Jennifer and Marc married in 2004 and divorced in 2014.
Marc was also previously married to Puerto Rican beauty queen Dayanara Torres, 48.
