Manu Tuilagi will make his long-awaited comeback on Friday and Sale believes England center is ready to have a ‘scary’ impact on their Premier League title challenge.
The 30-year-old, who has not been in action since he broke his Achilles tendon in September, is likely on the bench against league-leader Bristol.
Rugby sales director Alex Sanderson said: “Manu is in excellent shape. He looks huge, not out of shape huge, just as strong as a bull.

‘The guys did some live tackles and I had to stop him because he just ran through it.
‘It’s exciting to watch. He looked scary, scary powerful. ‘
Asked if he had stopped Tuilagi – in terms of his return – Sanderson said, ‘I couldn’t stop him if I wanted to, the man is too strong!
“We’re just aware, because he’s fit now, we’re throwing him in and overloading him.”
