A man who dressed naked as a Sims character for Halloween has divided the internet.
New York-based marketing manager Andrew Pagonis went viral over the weekend after sharing a photo of himself, scantily clad and in costume, at a Halloween party.
The 29-year-old left little to the imagination with the outfit, which consisted of nothing more than two pieces of pixelated cardboard to cover his crotch and butt.
“Talk to me in Simlish,” he captioned the image, referring to the hit game series.
The image quickly racked up over 12 million views on X, with many debating whether or not the costume was appropriate.

“It bothers me because his Halloween costume is just him without clothes,” one wrote.
Another commented: “He looks really old to be doing all this to be honest.” That’s probably why they make fun of him.
The criticism also provoked an avalanche of support from users who were eager to defend the businessman.
“Everyone is mad at quotes because his body is amazing and he can afford to go naked to a Halloween party,” one wrote.
Another wrote: ‘Say what you want, if I had a body like this I wouldn’t even think of an excuse.’ My costume every year would simply be “naked gay guy.”
One more wrote: ‘Am I laughing that people are upset about this? Everyone claims that all bodies are beautiful and there’s no need to be body-shamed in 2024, but if it doesn’t fit the pity narrative, they get angry.’
A fourth added: “I can’t say which is the bigger service just by being so hot or causing such a stir by being so hot.”
The image quickly racked up over 12 million views on X, and there was debate about whether or not the costume was appropriate.
Andrew later posted more photos of himself at the party, including one of him approaching the bar for a drink half naked.
After noticing that his post had gone viral on X, Pagonis said he appreciated “all the love” before directing his fans to follow him on Instagram.

This Halloween season has been marked by a series of daring costumes, many of which come from major celebrities.
Actress Nicola Peltz turned heads this week by dressing as a Playboy Bunny, while Joy Corrigan wore lingerie for her Victoria’s Secret model costume.
