A man’s body has been found washed up on Sydney’s northern beaches.
He was found on rocks at Freshwater, near a cliffside walking path on Lumsdaine Dr, at around 10.20am on Saturday.
The man, believed to be aged in his 60s, was found on rocks at Freshwater, at the edge of a cliffside walking path on Lumsdaine Dr, at around 10.20am on Saturday.
“Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were called… to reports that a body had been seen in the surf,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
“He has not yet been formally identified, but he is believed to be around sixty years old.
“Investigations continue.”
Freshwater is a suburb in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, approximately 17 km northwest of the Sydney CBD.
