A man in Argentina was rescued from an armed robbery when his two pet dogs ran out of his SUV and charged the suspects.

The victim, whose name was not reported, was cleaning his SUV in the Quilmes neighborhood of Buenos Aires on Wednesday afternoon when the two armed men ambushed him.

The CCTV camera of the homeowner's home left both the suspects walking quietly on the sidewalk before they broke up.

One of the men kept walking on the sidewalk while the other walked through the middle of the quiet street before suddenly attacking the victim.

Amid the bustle, two boxer terriers ran out of the vehicle to help their best friend.

Video footage showed the heroic puppies running after the surprised shooters in the street.

Fortunately neither of the dogs was injured.

No arrests were made.
