A man who was setting cars on fire at a cemetery in regional Victoria allegedly disrupted a funeral and fled the scene, smashing another car’s window with rocks in the process.
Police are seeking to speak to a man in a distinctive grey Holden Commodore in connection with the incident in Horsham, 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, last week.
Police say that after slamming on the brakes, the driver fled the scene, veering off the road and throwing stones at a car. There was a woman in the car and the rear window was smashed.
The Commodore is believed to have had no license plates and the driver was confronted at the scene but fled.
Police have released images of the alleged driver and his grey Holden VE Commodore SS van, which has a yellow rim or yellow ring on the tyre.
The incident happened near Horsham Cemetery at around 3pm on Monday 24 June.
Police allege the man was doing burnouts on Wawunna Road while a service was taking place at the cemetery.
The car continued along Davis Road, which runs alongside the cemetery.

Police said a woman was sitting inside one of the cars when rocks smashed the rear window.
The woman did not suffer any physical injuries.
The driver was confronted but allegedly refused to give his details and left the scene.
The man is described as being of medium build, with short brown hair and a short beard. He was wearing black trousers, a black jacket and sunglasses.
