Manchester United are said to be preparing a shock transfer wave for a former Arsenal striker in January.
Erik ten Hag is already looking to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the winter window and has identified a familiar face as one of his top targets, according to reports.
United are currently short on firepower, with Antony taking a leave of absence following the domestic abuse allegations against him in Brazil, while Jadon Sancho remains in exile following his stand-off with the Dutch boss.
The Red Devils could enter the transfer market to sign German international Serge Gnabry from Bayern Munich.
Spanish publication National report that United could make a move for the former Gunners in the new year.

Gnabry came through Arsenal’s youth ranks but failed to impress in north London, making just 18 appearances for the Gunners and a further three appearances in a forgettable loan spell at West Brom.
However, a return to Germany with Werder Bremen in 2016 became the German’s ‘making of’ and after an impressive season with Bremen, he moved to Bayern Munich a year later – and worked his way into the German national team.
In Munich, Gnabry has developed into a key member of the German giants. He played 223 games for the club and scored 82 goals.

At international level, the 28-year-old has scored 22 goals in just 42 appearances for Germany and played for his country at the 2020 European Championship and the 2022 World Cup.
Gnabry, who scored against Man United in last week’s 4-3 win over Bayern in the Champions League, has a contract until 2026 and the Premier League side could face competition from Real Madrid for his signature.
Man United are back in action on Tuesday evening when they take on Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup, before hosting the Eagles again in the competition on Saturday.
