Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier is reportedly looking for a new home near Old Trafford and Manchester United are keen to sign the right-back this summer.
The former Tottenham star has had a fantastic season with the Spanish team. He helped them win the LaLiga title by providing six assists, and is now looking for England’s first-choice place straight back at Euro 202.
Sports post reported that United are looking to back up Aaron Wan-Bissaka and have Trippier on their list of transfer targets.

And according to the athletic, the player is now house hunting in the North West of England. The club’s director of football negotiations, Matt Judge, has already started a dialogue with Atletico about a possible deal, the report added, with the player himself eager to return to the region where he grew up.
The 30-year-old was born in Bury and rose through the ranks at Manchester City.
He could be sold for a modest fee of around £10million, it claims, with Atletico forced to generate player sales amid a financial battle during the pandemic.

Tom Hopkinson of Football Talk also reports that Trippier has told his English colleagues that he would like to join the club and believes a fee of between £15m and £20m would be enough to convince Atletico to sell.
Trippier, who has a two-year contract with Wanda Metropolitano, has impressed in the Spanish capital by becoming a key member of the squad under Diego Simeone, playing a total of 68 games.
He won the first trophy of his career last season and he and his team took on the challenge of rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona to win their first league title in seven years.
His performances this summer were rewarded with a place in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad for the highly anticipated European Championship, which will see England’s home games at Wembley Stadium.
Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane are also wanted by United, but resources are limited
In addition to Trippier, United are also looking to strengthen the team on the central defender and on the right wing. Club chiefs are currently working on a deal for French defender Rafael Varane and Borussia Dortmund’s longtime attacking target Jadon Sancho.
United are frontrunners for Sancho, whose previous £108m asking price has been lowered by Borussia Dortmund. But no deal has been made yet and United don’t want to be ripped off.
Varane is a serious target as a centre-back – a problem position for United this season – and only has a one-year contract left with Real Madrid.
