LSU football star Trey Holly insists he is “100 percent innocent” after being charged with attempted second-degree murder for a shooting in Louisiana.

The jogger was reportedly one of three people arrested over the Feb. 9 incident in which a man was hit in the leg and a woman was left in critical condition after being shot three times.

Holly was arrested on two other felony charges: aggravated criminal damage to property and unlawful use of a weapon.

In a statement posted on social media, the freshman insisted he was an innocent bystander caught up in the attack.

‘As you know, I was recently arrested on 3 felony charges. I have been falsely identified, accused and arrested,’ he claimed.

“I have been falsely identified, accused and arrested,” the first-year running back insists.

‘I am 100% innocent and people who know me know that this is not my character at all. I was not involved in the incident at all.

“I was at home, which is where the incident occurred. I turned myself in because I was notified of an arrest warrant and wanted to cooperate fully. Because this is an ongoing investigation I cannot give many details.

‘To my fans, I’m sorry for the confusion, but you know this is not me at all. I will return better than ever and I hope to prove my innocence.

“To the ROYALS, thank you all for standing by me in this difficult time. I have this and my story will be told one day and it will be LEGENDARY.”

Holly turned herself in to authorities last week and was held on $512,000 bail.

He has been suspended from the LSU football program pending the outcome of the case.
