The Liverpool draw with West Ham has opened the door for Danilo and co to increase pressure
Aguero shot City on a remarkable 3-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday, scoring a treble as Pep Guardiola’s men kept up the pressure on Liverpool.
Aguero’s teammate Leroy Sane is enjoying the title race with Jurgen Klopp’s side, but admitted that the battle to keep the Premier League trophy has been a grueling one so far.
“I think it’s a bit more fun because it motivates you to say we want to be the first, put pressure on them, and want to work harder,” said Sané.
Defending a title is never easy. I think this is sometimes the reason for that – if we win, people want to win against the champions and they can say they beat the champions and other teams can’t. That is why it will be so difficult next season.
“All teams want to play at their best level, everyone wants to beat the champion or want to become champion themselves, so that makes it more difficult.

“Liverpool have a lot of players with a lot of experience. Even last season they reached the Champions League final, so they know how to do it.
“We all know what we did last season, we are still doing it this season and we all know exactly what to do and that is the most important thing.”
