An ITV reporter struck comedy gold when interviewing a young Manchester United fan recently.

The lad was telling the journalist about his training schedule when she asked him some questions about his believed Red Devils.

His response was far from complimentary, although he did have kind words for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Reporter: ‘So you’re a future football star?’ 

Young fan: ‘Hopefully.’

Reporter: ‘Who’s your favourite team?’

Reporter: ‘And who’s your favourite player?’

Young fan: ‘None of them. They’re all rubbish.’

Reporter: ‘What about Ole… you must like Ole?’

Young fan: ‘Yeah, he’s a legend.’

United finished sixth in the Premier League last season but will be hoping to push up the table after a big summer in the transfer market.

Daniel James has already arrived from Swansea City while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to join from Crystal Palace.

United have also been linked with a possible move for Arsenal frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
