Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals that Marcus Rashford is ‘a few months out’ and would MISS Euro 2020 with a difficult back injury … while £ 89m midfielder Paul Pogba is ‘nowhere near’ back to training
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that top striker Marcus Rashford will be ‘out for a few months’ and will not be part of the English team for Euro 2020 if he cannot prove his condition after a difficult back injury.
Rashford turned his back on the FA Cup against Wolves and Solskjaer’s latest comments suggest that he should play no further role in the Manchester United 2019-2020 campaign.
The Norwegian boss was also asked for a fitness update on £ 89 million midfielder Paul Pogba prior to the Europa League meeting with Club Bruges, only to admit that the Frenchman “does not return anywhere” to training with the rest from the team from the first team.
Marcus Rashford suffered a long-term injury to inflict a huge blow on Manchester United
“It will touch and go. It takes time, “Solskjaer said at Rashford.
“I’m not a doctor, but I hoped he would recover faster than it looks like he’s going out. He will certainly be gone for a few months. “
