Manchester United winger Antony and his girlfriend Rosilene Silva have announced their engagement via Instagram.
Antony and his childhood sweetheart, who have known each other since their school years in Sao Paulo, posted a joint post with three photographs.
One of the images showed the 24-year-old footballer proposing on his knees. Another showed Antony kissing his fiancée on the cheek.
The other photo was of a heart-shaped floral arrangement framing the words, ‘Case Comigo?’, which means ‘Marry me?’ in Portuguese.
Rosilene accompanied the post with the message: ‘What God has in store for us is much more than we can imagine…’

Antony, 24, and Rosilene took to Instagram to announce their engagement with a joint post.
Rosilene pictured earlier this year before giving birth to her second child with Antony.
Brazilian Rosilene has known footballer Antony since her school years in Sao Paulo.
The couple already have two children together, the youngest was born earlier this summer.
Antonio proposed to her during a romantic vacation on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
The former Ajax star was able to take his partner on a mid-season break after being left out of Brazil’s squad for this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Antony has 16 caps for Brazil and was part of his country’s squad that travelled to Qatar in 2022.
However, he has not represented Brazil since March 2023.
He has also fallen out of favour at club level. Antony has featured in just one of United’s first four games this season, coming on as an 89th-minute substitute in a 2-1 defeat to Brighton last month.
Antony has only played for United once so far this season and was not included in Brazil’s last squad.

Antony was accused of domestic abuse by three women last year but was not arrested or charged in either Brazil or the UK and he denied the allegations.
A Brazilian police investigation into the allegations ended last month without any charges being filed, but prosecutors could still investigate the claims.
Antony’s lawyers said in a statement: ‘The defense of player Antony Matheus dos Santos, in light of the news published by the press this Tuesday (August 20, 2024), confirms that the police investigation opened at the Fifth Police Station for the Defense of Women of Sao Paulo, of the Civil Police, was closed without any police accusation.
‘The defence has always believed that the investigations, which are being conducted confidentially, would prove Antony’s innocence.’
