- Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to French champions PSG in the summer
- Manchester United have reportedly set their asking price for the 24-year-old.
- Sancho has not played a competitive game for United in 11 months
Manchester United have reportedly set their asking price for winger Jadon Sancho amid speculation linking the winger with a move to PSG this summer.
Reports from France earlier this week claimed the 24-year-old was close to agreeing a personal deal with the French champions just days after making his first appearance for United in almost a year in a friendly against Rangers.
United are understood to have already decided on the fee they would like to recoup if they allow Sancho to leave Old Trafford.
According MirrorUnited want £40m for Sancho and the Premier League giants are willing to take a significant loss on the £73m they spent on him in 2021.
Sancho has only just been welcomed back to United after a public clash with manager Erik ten Hag last year.

Sancho has held talks to clear the air with Erik ten Hag, but could still leave Manchester United
The striker was left out of United’s squad for the game against Arsenal in September, with Ten Hag citing Sancho’s performances in training as the reason for his omission.
Sancho subsequently took to social media to hit back, insisting the Dutchman had made him a “scapegoat” and, after refusing to apologise, was banned from the first team.
He spent four months on the sidelines before returning to his former club Borussia Dortmund on loan for the second half of the campaign.
Sancho impressed in Germany, leading Dortmund to the Champions League final before they were beaten by Real Madrid at Wembley.
United may be hoping Sancho’s performances for Dortmund have been enough to boost his price tag as they are considering selling him despite the England international holding talks to clear the air with Ten Hag earlier this month.
Sancho returned to training with United after Ten Hag insisted they had “put an end to” the situation.
He said: “Manchester United need good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we will move on. We have drawn the line. We will move on.”
Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and has not played a competitive game for United since last August.
But Sancho’s future remains uncertain after three disappointing years at Old Trafford.
He has scored just 12 goals in 82 appearances for the club and took a break to focus on his mental health during the 2022-23 season.
Sancho is expected to be part of the United squad that travels to the United States on Wednesday for a three-match pre-season tour, but it has been 11 months since his last competitive appearance for the team.
And he may no longer be at the club when they begin their Premier League campaign on August 16 at home to Fulham if PSG step up their interest and meet United’s asking price.
