Manchester United are considering signing centre-back Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea this summer, according to a new report.
The Red Devils had serious injury problems in defense last season and were constantly reliant on makeshift options for cover.
Meanwhile, the Blues look set to make a number of sales this summer, to boost their own transfer funds and attempt to satisfy the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
The independent reports that Chalobah would be a target for Man United, with the 24-year-old appealing to the club as they look to bring in younger players.
However, any potential move for the former England youth player would depend on Man United’s new recruitment approach, which INEOS is finalizing.
