Ralf Rangnick could hand a full Manchester United debut to defender Teden Mengi for tonight’s Champions League death-rubber against Young Boys at Old Trafford.
United have already been secured first place in their group and United’s interim boss will pass on the changes, with Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek both confirming they will start.
Before a busy holiday season, the German might be tempted to make big changes and if so, 19-year-old Mengi could make his first competitive start for the club.

Mengi (yellow bib) was able to make his first competitive start for the club against Young Boys
Mengi made his only competitive appearance for the first team in August 2020 against Austria’s LASK.
But he was loaned out to Derby in the second half of last season and impressed Wayne Rooney in the Championship.
“He’s been fantastic for us and we’ve seen him grow every game,” Rooney said when Mengi’s season was cut short in April due to injury.
“I feel he has improved a lot and he has shown that he can play at this level.”
