Harry Maguire wasted little time hitting the golf course after helping Manchester United to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The United captain enjoyed a round in Cheshire on Wednesday morning, just hours after the team’s 2-0 win over Villarreal in Spain.
Maguire has a weekend off as he has been banned from United’s Premier League trip to Chelsea after being sent off in the 4-1 defeat at Watford that led to the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Interim manager Michael Carrick oversaw a passable performance against Villarreal as late goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho secured United’s passage to the last-16.
But for that United were indebted to goalkeeper David de Gea for a series of crucial saves to keep them in the game with weaknesses in defense and midfield.
It doesn’t get any easier for Carrick and United as Premier League leader Chelsea present a formidable challenge at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
And they’ll have to play them without first-choice centre-back Maguire, with Eric Bailly likely to slip into the head of their defense alongside Victor Lindelof.
Maguire and most of his team-mates have struggled to form in recent weeks with a run of five defeats in seven Premier League games that ultimately cost Solskjaer his job.

It wasn’t United’s most convincing performance, but they beat Villarreal
United are close to eighth in the standings and have drifted adrift against rivals Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool after being outclassed by the latter two in recent weeks.
But they are assured of first place in their Champions League group and, in theory, an easier draw in the first knockout round.
Maguire responded to criticism when he scored for England in their World Cup qualifier against Albania by sticking his fingers in his ears as he celebrated it.
He followed that up by opening the scoring in England’s 10-0 win over San Marino a few nights later.

While United are looking for both temporary and permanent replacements for Solskjaer, after their Chelsea visit, they hope to get their season back on track with a series of less daunting games.
They host Arsenal in the midweek before the games with Crystal Palace, Young Boys, Norwich, Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle, Burnley and Wolves over the festive period.
Meanwhile, United have seen an initial approach for Mauricio Pochettino turned down by Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
