Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly interested in signing Leicester’s Youri Tielemans to Old Trafford this summer.
The Red Devils have yet to sign in the current transfer window, but ten Hag has identified his squad’s midfield as part of the squad that needs improvement, and has drawn up a shortlist of potential targets.

The 25-year-old is about to enter the final year of his Leicester contract and has also been linked in recent weeks with north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.
However, Spurs pulled Yves Bissouma from Brighton earlier this month and appear to be focusing on strengthening other positions for now.
This could open the door for United to make their move, with the 13-time Premier League champions also closing in on another midfielder in the form of Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong.
De Jong is closing in on a move to the Manchester red side for a fee of up to £70million.

Tielemans has spent the past three and a half years at Leicester, having initially been loaned to the club from Monaco in January 2019.
He made 157 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side and scored the winning goal at Wembley to lead his side to FA Cup victory in 2021.
The midfielder has earned 52 caps for Belgium at international level and looks likely to be a key part of Roberto Martinez’s plans for this year’s World Cup.
As well as Tielemans, United are also fond of Christian Eriksen, who is on the cusp of becoming a free agent after his brief stint with Brentford in the second half of last season.
United have made a proposal to the Danish international and are waiting for him to make a final decision on his future.
