A groom has been beaten up after his wife shared a video showing him checking his phone as she walks down the aisle on their big day.

Taylor Loren, from Vancouver, took to TikTok to share a clip from her wedding four years ago, which she says was “the most important moment of her life.”

Dressed in a blue suit and with a long beard, her husband Russell, for the first time, seemed delighted to see his glowing bride walk down the aisle.

But his eyes left his approaching bride as he quickly reached into his jacket to check his phone.

She captioned the video: “Four years ago today, I walked down the aisle to marry the love of my life.

“It was one of the most important and emotional moments of our lives – and my husband did the most romantic…

“He looked at his phone.”

The video has been viewed more than 2.3 million times and many people were outraged by the groom’s behavior.

“Okay, no,” one said.

“This is tasteless,” said another.

“Divorce,” wrote a third strand.

Another shared her own story, saying that her husband’s phone alarm went off during their marriage.

Taylor admitted she wasn’t upset, writing, “He was soooo nervous! I thought it was funny’.

“He did have the vows on his phone, but he didn’t have to pick them up at the time.”
